El artículo analiza visiones de agentes escolares sobre la convivencia entre pares como parte del estudio “La violencia entre pares: influencia de las relaciones entre docentes y familias de alumnos de escuelas de educación media”, cuya meta es interpretar cómo influyen las relaciones docentes-familias en la violencia entre alumnos. El enfoque investigativo es cualitativo y su población, estudiantes, docentes y familias de cursos inferiores de tres escuelas públicas de ciudades aledañas a Rosario. El objetivo del artículo es analizar cómo interviene la categoría “autoridad” en los vínculos: docente-alumnos, docentes-dirección, escuela-familias, partiendo de la hipótesis de que la forma de ejercicio de autoridad influye en las relaciones de los jóvenes y en las características de la violencia. En el primero, se observa la ruptura de la combinación entre las autoridades administrativa y tradicional, prevaleciendo la carismática fundada en escuchar temáticas no escolares. Algunos dicen mostrar un semblante `malo´ para no generar una excesiva confianza obstaculizadora de la relación asimétrica. Una forma de deslegitimación es no estar capacitado para enseñar materias obligadas por reformas curriculares. En el segundo, existe malestar para con la dirección. Algunos se quejan del desempeño directivo ambiguo y poco resolutivo. Otros aluden al autoritarismo en la aplicación de reglas. En otra escuela, este malestar se relaciona con la inacción ante incumplimientos de normas institucionales por algunos docentes. Finalmente, se cita frecuentemente a familiares por “problemas disciplinares”. En dos instituciones el objetivo es lograr acuerdos. En otra se culpabiliza a las familias, indicándoles cómo deben educar a sus hijos.

ABSTRACT

The article analyzes school agents´ vision about relationships between couples as part of the investigation «The violence between couples: influence of relationships between teachers and high school students’ families «. Its goal is analyzing the way the relationships between teachers and families influence on the violence between pupils. The investigation is qualitative and it refers to students, teachers and families from the lowest courses of public high schools from cities nearby Rosario. The article´s aim is analyzing the way the category «authority» participates on the relationships: teacher-students, teachers-directives, school-families, based on the hypothesis: “The way authority is exercised influences the relationships between young people and the violence´s characteristics. In the first one, the combination between the administrative and traditional authorities is broken, prevailing the charismatic one founded in listening to personal, not school matters. Some teachers say they must show a `bad’ face for no generating an excessive confidence that makes difficult the asymmetric relationship. A mood of deslegitimation is not being able to teach subjects forced by curricular reforms. In the second one, there is a discomfort from teachers with direction. Some of them complain about the director´s confusing and very little resolute perform. Others talk about the authoritary application of rules. In another school, this discomfort is related with the director´s inaction in front of teachers´ faults. Finally, families are called frequently because of «discipline problems». In two institutions the aim is arriving to accords. Another school members culpate to families and indicates them how to educate their children.
