ABSTRACT

This paper investigates on the design of a pluralist curriculum in the career of Economics. Accordingly, first, the central aspects of the epistemological proposal of the Reflexive and Structured Pluralism are presented. Subsequently, this work systematizes a set of arguments that many epistemologists, adhering to this proposal, put forward in relation with the degree of tolerance among the schools of economic thought. Then, an effort is made to link the problems inherent to the design and implementation of a pluralist curriculum in Economics with this conceptual framework, reviewing experiences carried out at different universities. Finally, a series of reflections and lines of future research are offered.
